Makerspace/Resource Hub: We maintain a state-of-the-art makerspace-like environment stocked with donated emerging technologies and computational equipment. This hub is designed to support the creation of classified and unclassified solutions.
Barrier Removal: This environment provides individuals and early-stage companies—who have limited capital—access to the specialized technology and equipment vital for developing and testing complex solutions, which would otherwise be cost-prohibitive.
Business Support Network: To ensure innovators translate successful prototypes into deployable solutions, we facilitate access to essential business infrastructure, including: patent and general business lawyers, insurance agents, SBA representatives, and potential investors.
Instruction: We leverage volunteer instructors and subject matter experts to offer courses covering both technical topics relevant to emerging technologies and crucial business development skills.
Curriculum Examples: Seminars on creating a company for government contracting, understanding Requests for Proposal (RFPs), developing on various software platforms, and utilizing application programming interfaces (APIs).
Access: Education opportunities are provided both ad-hoc and in scheduled manners at our facility, virtually, and at partner locations.
Events: We host speakers, industry challenges, hack-a-thons, and other public events designed to encourage interest in emerging technologies and business creation.
Mentorship: These events pair innovators with mentors and subject matter experts to collaboratively solve specific public sector technical challenges, inspiring them to pursue careers that support national interests.
